Lizzy is a 9 month old lab mix who came to us from a shelter where she wasn't doing well in that environment anymore - she's a younger dog who needs her exercise!
She is a typical adolescent dog- she has her active moments and loves to play. She needs a home that will make sure she gets the exercise she needs to he happy. She is a sweet girl, but can also benefit from some additional obedience training to help her learn to be the best dog she can be. She is good with other dogs and loves people. All dogs will need a housetraining refresher when moving to a new house and routine, but she is doing well so far.
Lizzy can have a little bit of anxiety about riding in the car, and has gotten carsick a couple times. At her foster home she isn't a vocal girl, but she will make some noise when you are leaving for the day and will be excited when she first gets out of the kennel for the first few minutes.
Adoption fee is $350.00 (no checks)

This dog will not be at our adoption event at the Woodbury PetSmart on Saturday from 11-2 looking for a home, so please contact the foster to learn more.
Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.
Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
