Kenny is a year and a half old maybe beagle mix who came to us from a shelter where he was very scared in the environment. He was surrendered there because his family was moving and he wasn't able to go with. Kenny weighs 17 pounds, and is a sweet easy going boy who is great with people he knows, but he is a shy guy until he knows you. He is shy around new people. It takes him a little longer to warm up to them, and he will hide from them. He will play and be friendly with people he knows.

Canello is good with other dogs. He gets along great with them. He has been around young kids in his previous home, but he would need some space when he first goes to a new home to understand all the changed that have happened to him and his world turning upside down.

Canello needs a patient and quiet home that will give him the time he needs to warm up and become part of the family. Once he knows you, he loves you.

Adoption fee is $350.00 + tax (no checks)

This dog will not be at our adoption event at the Woodbury PetSmart on Saturday from 11-2, so contact his foster to learn more.

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
