Baron is estimated to be around 2 years old and a min pin/terrier mix He weighs around 15 pounds. He was found as a stray back in November and has been in a shelter where, through no fault of his own, he hasn't been able to find a home. We were asked if we could find a foster home for him, because after all, a shelter environment can be hard on the dogs when they are there for more than a few months.
Baron is good with people and other dogs. He will need a housetraining and crate training refresher with moving to a new house and routine from being used to a shelter kennel adjusting to being back in a home.
Baron is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm tested negative and on preventatives. He is also microchipped and dewormed.
Adoption fee is $350.00 + tax (no checks)

This dog will be at our adoption event at the Woodbury PetSmart on Saturday from 11-2pm looking for a home!
Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.
Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
