Rose is a 7-8 month old pittie mix girl who was originally found as a stray back in January. She had mange so bad, she almost didn't have any fur left, but she was treated and is doing great! She weighs around 25-30 pounds and will probably be around 40-45 when full grown.

She is the sweetest girl who loves to cuddle and lay with you. She does snore a bit too! She is great with other dogs and loves to play. She is good with people too. She is best with kids ages 7 and up. She would love to have a family who is willing to work on some training with her and help her to be the best dog she can be. Rose will need a housetraining refresher when moving to a new house and a new routine - their world gets turned upside down and they need a little time to figure out what is going on with all the changes.

Rose will make a wonderful addition to a family!

Adoption fee is $350 + tax (no checks)

This dog will be at our adoption event at the Woodbury PetSmart on Saturday from 11-2 looking for a home!

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment are likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
