Wilma is a 4-5 year old yorkie who was bailed out from being sent to an auction by a breeder who was retiring.
Wilma was recently spayed, had a dental, and is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped. She will need some work on housetraining when she goes to a new home.
She does have a back leg that she walks a little differently on, but it doesn't get in her way. We did xrays on her leg and there is no issue to the bone, so it is likely due to nerve damage during delivery of her puppies in the past. These xrays can be sent to the adopters vet as well.
She is good with other dogs and best with older kids, 10 and up.
She is a very sweet girl, looking forward to better years ahead!
Adoption fee is $450.00 + tax (no checks)

Wilma will not be at an adoption event this weekend, so contact the foster to learn more!
Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.
Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
