Kylo

German Shepherd Dog Australian Shepherd

If you are interested in any of the dogs available at New Leash Rescue, you can reach out to the foster listed below for more information and then complete an adoption application which can be found at https://www.newleashrescue.org/adopt/policy. Please email the completed application to newleashrescue2018@gmail.com

Kylo is estimated to be around 2.5 years old and is a shepherd mix who was a stray that was never claimed. He seems to be doing pretty well on housetraining so far in his foster home but all dogs will need a refresher course when moving to a new house and a new routine. He can be a tiny bit shy at first but he warms up quickly and is more of a medium high energy level. He loves to run and play and would love a buddy in his new home. He's very smart too!

Kylo is super sweet. He does well with other dogs and likes to run and play and of course likes to get his belly rubbed! He does well in a plastic kennel when his foster is gone. He has not been around cats yet that we know of.

He is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and on preventatives.

He will make a great addition to a family!

Adoption fee is $350.00 + tax (no checks)

Foster to contact: Kim at 507-351-6647 or k.balder@hotmail.com

This dog will be at our adoption event at the Woodbury Petsmart on Saturday from 11-3pm waiting to meet you!

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
