Freddie is estimated to be 1-2 years old and a Cattle Dog/Terrier mix. He weighs about 45 pounds.
He was originally found as a stray and was never claimed and was taken to a shelter where he was scared in the environment.
He is a medium to medium high energy level and loves to run and play with other dogs. He has been around all sizes of dogs and has done well. Freddie knows how to sit, lay down, and go kennel. He is kenneled when his foster is at work.
Occasionally, Freddie will be a little bit mouthy, so we would recommend him with kids ages 10 and up. He can be a little shy/submissive around certain new things, so needs a family who is patient and willing to work with him a little bit. Freddie has not been around cats at this point.
Adoption fee is $350.00 + tax (no checks)

This dog will be at our adoption event at the Woodbury PetSmart on Saturday from 11-3 looking for a home!
Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.
Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
